I'm Back .............
Hello, hello it's good to be back, good to be back etc :)
Been busy at work to such a degree that i put the blog on the back-burner for a wee bit and a week became months.
Musically i've been going back through my past picking up some cheap cd's from e-bay.
Bargains galore i got my two favourite John Mellencamp cd's - "Scarecrow" and "Lonesome Jubilee" (i have always owned them on cassette but wanted them on cd to put onto my i-pod).
Other good stuff included Definition Of Sound, A House, Echobelly, Sleeper, That Petrol Emotion, a Trojan records box set, Jellyfish, Wonderstuff, Townes Van Zandt and a few others that slip my mind at the moment).
And last Saturday when i was browsing in HMV and saw a great offer - if you bought 3 sale cd's you could purchase the book "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die" for half price (only a tenner!). So i got 3 cd's for a fiver each, Human League "Dare", Love "Forever Changes" and MC5 "Kick out the jams" and got a brilliant reference book for alltogether £25. Bargain :)
